Pact seeks a Finance and Operations Director for the anticipated USAID-funded Tanzania Strengthening the Capacity of Local Organizations Activity. This is anticipated to be a five-year activity; the position will be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This position is contingent upon award.
The Capacity Strengthening Advisor will manage the implementation of the anticipated USAID Tanzania Strengthening the Capacity of Local Organizations activity, under the leadership of the COP. She/he will focus efforts on supporting the improvement of the organizational capacity, financial management and internal controls and operations for local organizations to ensure their sustainability and growth. This position is contingent upon award of the contract agreement.
Pact seeks an experienced Chief of Party (COP) for the USAID/Tanzania Strengthening the Capacity of Local Organizations Activity. The purpose of the Activity is to strengthen the capacity of USAID/Tanzania’s local partners to better strategize, plan, implement, communicate, and monitor their activities and improve their entity and overall operations to be sustainable organizations. This is anticipated to be a three-year activity.
The COP will supervise all activities related to this program and have overall responsibility for the
technical assistance team's successful performance. The COP shall provide strategic leadership and bear primary responsibility for all administrative requirements of the contract, ensuring that the quarterly key performance indicators, objectives, and deliverables for the project are met. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the project follows USAID regulations, the contract, and Pact policies. The COP will be the official representative of the contractor and be primarily responsible for liaising with high level USAID and government officials, and forging alliances with a myriad of businesses, organizations and stakeholders and managing multiple offices. This position is contingent upon award and is anticipated to be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
