  Pact seeks a Chief of Party (COP) for the anticipated USAID-funded Gir’Ijambo (Have a Say) Activity, an Associate Award under the Civil Society and Media-Strengthened Together and Advancing in New Directions (CSM-STAND) Africa & Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Leader with Associates (LWA) Cooperative Agreement. This $4.2M, five-year activity will focus on strengthening civil society organizations’ (CSOs) institutional capacity and sustainability, issue small grants to select CSOs to carry out advocacy work, and support the formation and bolster existing CSO networks. The activity will focus on four separate priorities and will target youth and women CSOs engaged in human rights, individual freedoms, governance, justice, and reconciliation: (1) support capacity strengthening and issue sub-grants to local organizations engaged in civic education and advocacy for positive political engagement; (2) strengthen CSOs dedicated to promoting accountable, transparent, and responsive governance; (3) respond to trafficking in persons (TIP) and other human rights issues; and (4) support livelihood opportunities for women and youth members of select CSOs.   The position will be based in Bujumbura, Burundi, and report to the CSM-STAND Associate Awards Technical Director.   Pact seeks a Director of Grants and Contracts for the USAID-funded Strengthening Youth and Women’s Civic Participation Project. The Project aims to increase collaboration, sustainability, and resilience of civil society and independent media to advance the inclusion, participation and leadership of youth and women in Sudan. Pact seeks a Finance and Administration Director for the anticipated USAID-funded Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, Immunization, and Malaria (RMNCI+M) Activity in Burundi.  This position will provide oversight of all finance, operations, HR, and procurement functions on the activity. Pact seeks a Program Specialist for the USAID/RDMA-funded “Empowering the Truth Tellers: Asia Investigative Reporting Network Activity” (AIR Network) project, an Associate Award under the Civil Society and Media-Strengthened Together and Advancing in New Directions (CSM-STAND) leader with associates award. AIR Network aims to strengthen capacity, networking and collaboration among Asian investigative journalists and newsrooms that produce cross-border investigative reports of regional and global importance on transborder crime and corruption. The geographic scope of this program includes the countries of Southeast Asia (including Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines) and will take place over a five-year period. The Program Specialist will work closely with the program’s Chief of Party to support the overall management of AIR Network, including but not limited to the following duties: monitoring and implementation of program activities, liaising and coordination with program stakeholders, preparing regular reports for donors, partners, and the project’s management, provision of administrative and operational support, administration of grants, provision of technical assistance to local partners management, and monitoring of program budgets, as needed. The Program Specialist will ensure monitoring of project progress and work with the Chief of Party to take corrective action as necessary. This position will be based in Bangkok, Thailand and will report to the AIR Network Chief of Party.
