Pact is initiating a new activity in Malawi as part of the ACHIEVE project, a global project funded through the U.S. Department of State. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for supporting the sourcing and procurement of Goods, Works, and Services in the most cost-effective manner for the ACHIEVE Malawi Project.
The Grants Officer is directly responsible to and supervised by the Finance and Operations Manager. The Finance Officer provides high-level Finance, grants, and contracts management to achieve the goal of the Pact Malawi project. S/he provides a Capacity building for all aspects related to Finance and management of sub-grants and subcontracts. This requires close collaboration with Pact Finance and Grants units to ensure compliance with USG Rules and Regulations and other donor guidelines.
Position Purpose:
Perform functions to support Pact Malawi in financial management in order to provide accurate, current, and complete disclosure of financial transactions; records that identify source and application of funds effective control and accountability of funds, property, and other assets; and comparison of the expenditure versus budget amounts.
Job Summary:
The Finance Officer works with the Finance team to ensure that Pact’s financial management, policies, and procedures and those of donors are adhered to at all times and accurate financial records are maintained.
