Pact seeks an experienced Finance Director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Strengthening the organizational capacity of the Ministry of Health to deliver a sustainable and resilient response to HIV/TB and related public health threats in the Kingdom of Eswatini under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). This project aims to enhance the Eswatini Ministry of Health’s (MOH) capacity to strengthen internal systems, structures, and processes for a sustainable and resilient HIV/TB response. It focuses on improving leadership and governance, financial resource mobilization and management, and workforce planning and performance. This position is contingent upon award.
Reporting to the Principal Investigator/Country Director (PI/CD), the Finance Director is a member of the Senior Management Team and is This position has oversight of project finance and accounting functions; internal control systems and procedures; and forecasting and realigning project budgets as well as office administration, procurement, and IT support services. S/he will ensure that the project’s financial functions support its goals and that resources are used in compliance with CDC regulations. The Finance Director is responsible for training and mentoring staff on policies and procedures, donor regulations, new systems, and financial best practices, as well as working closely with the country office staff and head office in DC personnel to ensure compliance with all donor regulations and effective and proactive management.
