Pact is recruiting a Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) for the WE Act project for the $10-15M USAID-funded Women Entrepreneurs Act project (WE Act). This is five-year project that started in 2018 and continues to 2023, which focuses on supporting young women entrepreneurs in urban areas to access the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to succeed in the marketplace, and to enable constructive civic engagement with decision makers. The overall goal of the project is to see young women entrepreneurs improve their socio-economic status.
The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) is responsible for assisting with the overall coordination, management, and helping the Chief of Party (COP) to meet the project’s technical objectives, manage program staff, maintain good working relationships with host government officials and local partners, manage donor reporting and ensure a high-quality delivery of services. Further, the DCOP will have primary responsibility for managing ongoing applied research and ensuring project initiatives in entrepreneurship and civic engagement are responsive to the evolving Cambodian context, working closely with the Chief of Party, project team, other Pact programs, local and international partners.
