Pact is recruiting for a Chief of Party for an upcoming project in Colombia, Conectando Caminos por los Derechos (Venezuelan Migrant Rights Activity). The goal of the project is to support a transition from short-term humanitarian assistance for migrants to long-term development assistance for migrants, Colombian returnees, and receptor communities. It will focus on strengthening local systems, processes, and the capacity of the Government of Colombia (GOC) and non-state actors, such as those in civil society, academia, the media, and the private sector.
The Chief of Party (COP) has a high-level coordination role, and an adaptative management leadership position. He/she should lead co-creation processes with the consortium whose members should feel represented by him/her in public scenarios and with USAID. The COP will serve as the primary liaison with USAID, the global USAID-funded human rights program (PROGRESS) consortium, project partners and relevant project stakeholders. The COP will have primary responsibility for achieving and executing the project’s vision and strategy, managing critical relationships with key partners to maximize synergy and collaboration, and ensuring that all contractual requirements are met on time and within budget. This position is contingent upon award.
