They liaise with Pact field office/project staff and other international organizations to coordinate both internal as well as a global “community of practice” to keep abreast of new developments and help advance the “state of the art” of the sector. The Director represents the organization in relevant forums and will provide strategic guidance on how to move Pact further into the “fourth-sector”/social enterprise space. They are an active member of the IPA Team, which in turn serves as the technical hub of Pact headquarters and advise the head of IPA on a range of issues relevant to LEO+. For clarity- Livelihoods and Economic Opportunities+ (LEO+) combines the previous Livelihoods and Natural Resources Management technical areas into a re-envisioned and expanded livelihoods and economic opportunities program that has as its goal to advance environmentally sustainable and inclusive economic development in the communities we serve.
